| USI becomes signatory of the Magna Charta Universitatum Università della Svizzera italiana was among the new signatories of the Magna Charta Universitatum 2020 at the anniversary event held in November 2025, in London. USI's application to sign the Magna Charta was promoted and prepared by the International Relations and Study Abroad Service. |

| A lovely Christmas present Switzerland and the EU agreed on Switzerland’s association to Erasmus+ in 2027. The Swiss Parliament still has to grant the necessary budget; should Switzerland’s association to Erasmus+ be delayed, the SEMP would continue in 2027. We will keep our partners updated on all developments. |
