A visionary in her field, Jennie Rosén is dedicated to take fashion forward by encouraging collaborations within and across disciplines. Driven by design, culture and technology her focus is set on innovation to reform the fashion system on a regional and global level.

The 7th generation students had the opportunity to visit The Creation of a Diva exhibition at Mudec, organized by Guess. The exhibition explored the evolution of divas, showcasing Guess’ iconic campaigns and visual storytelling. Followed by an insightful presentation from their team on the launch.
In December, our 7th generation DFC students visited the ON Headquarters, where they got a tour of the offices and presentations from the team about company diversity and inclusion, the Zendaya collaboration and their digital marketing journey, and the Early Talent Program. Thank you to the team!
L. Cantoni has been member of the jury evaluating her thesis, titled: “De la haute couture à l'aménagement urbain: quand les marques de luxe s'emparentent des projets culturels de territoire.Fashion houses and privatization practices in Italian cities”, and supervised by Maria Gravari-Barbas.
Professor Lorenzo Cantoni has presented current research on Fashion and Tourism at the ISEM Fashion Business School in Madrid, Spain. The presentation has covered both the impact of Tourism on Fashion as well as vice versa, unveiling a very rich fabric of relationships and connections.
Last November, the paper Swissness in a Heritage Fashion Brand—The Case of Bally (2024) was published. PhD Candidate Charlotte Stachel attended and presented the findings at the Shoes and Clothing in History 2024 10th International Conference in Zlín on the 14th of November. Click to read the paper!
