Innosuisse has decided to support the Comprehensive Advanced Program on BioBusiness of the Center of Advanced Studies on Entrepreneurship in BioMedicine (CASE BioMed), Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, for the period 2022-2024. The funding was granted following a very competitive national call.
The “BioBusiness-MIT Life Science Angels Award” has been awarded to Bacterapeutix, InCephalo, and Saverna. The alumni start-up projects of BioBusiness2020 will pitch to the MIT Alumni Life Science Angels of Boston. The award offers the prospect of angel investment of up to USD 1 million.
The first eHealth Business program will take place from 8-12 November 2021.The comprehensive advanced program promotes entrepreneurship in digital health. eHealth Business is the first sector-specific eHealth entrepreneurship program in Switzerland and attracted participants from all over the world.
T3 Pharmaceuticals was founded in 2015 by Dr. Simon Ittig, and Dr. Christoph Kasper, alumni of the BioBusiness2014 program, as a spin-off of the University of Basel. In 2020, T3 Pharmaceuticals announced its third financing round. This financing brings T3 Pharma’s total funding to 40 million CHF.
Within the already high level of courses available in Switzerland this BioEntrepreneurship program is really outstanding. From the well balanced mixture of expert presentations and hand-on workshops on the own business ideas I gained a lot. A "must go" for each upcoming life science entrepreneur.
