The 2nd edition of the eHealth Business program took place from 9-13 October 2023. The eHealth Business Award for the best project presentation went to Dr. Francesca Catto (University Hospital Zurich and ETHZ) and Dr. Barbara Geissmann (Oncobit).
The BioBusiness2023 award from TFV_NES-20_10-BioBusiness (11-15 December 2023, powered by Innosuisse) went to 2 start-ups that were equally judged: Liver4Life (presented by Dr. Waldemar Hoffmann, Wyss Zurich) and Ariya Bio (presented by J. Nelis, BioTech Park Schlieren).
The 1st edition of the accompanying book for the eHealth Business program (eds. Dr. Heidrun Flaadt and Jörg Dogwiler) will be published in 2024. Entrepreneurs, (industry) experts and investors contributed to the so far unique collection of sector-specific topics.
Boehringer Ingelheim acquired T3 Pharmaceuticals for up to 450 million CHF. T3 Pharma, founded by the BioBusiness2014 alumni Dr. S. Ittig and Dr. C. Kasper, has developed a proprietary therapy platform that uses live bacteria to deliver immune-modulating proteins to cancer cells.
