The Technology Coordination and Frequency Management Division prepares the Earth observation missions and technologies of the future, encompassing a wide range of scientific missions, operational missions and small satellite missions.

The newly created Earth Observation System Architecture Office is responsible for establishing and maintaining a reference architecture for European Earth Observation systems, encompassing all ESA Earth Observation missions and taking account of European, national, and commercial systems.
