The Cardiocentro Institute is fully integrated into the public health system of the Cantonal Hospital since January 1st, 2021. Its focus is in the area of prevention and treatment of heart disease and in the research being strongly committed to training, playing a role in the new Faculty of Biomedical Sciences - USI.
