Nominations for the 2026 Spring Semester are open until 31 October 2025. All partner universities have received an email with the necessary information and a link to the Mobility Online nomination form.
On Thursday, 4 September, Università della Svizzera italiana had the honour of welcoming Her Excellency Mrs Ana Gabriela Massey Machado, Costa Rican Ambassador to Switzerland, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant at the same embassy, Mrs Arianna Scuncio.
USI and Tecnológico de Monterrey launch the innovative Advanced Master Placement Programme: Tec bachelor students can spend a mobility semester in USI's Master in Management and Informatics and then, if admitted, complete the master's degree at USI in 3 semesters instead of the usual 4.
USI was represented at the 35th EAIE conference in Gothenburg by four members of the relint team. It was a pleasure to catch up with many of our partners, as well as lay the foundations for new partnerships, represent USI at the Swiss stand, and attend many interesting presentations. Keep in touch!

The USI International Relations Service will implement a new Buddy Programme, in collaboration with ESN Lugano, which will put incoming exchange students in touch with local students to offer them support during their stay. Incoming students will receive more information in due time.
The end of exchange reports written by students who spent the 2025 Spring Semester at USI are now available on our responsive portal (select "Exchange Experience Reports" and "Incoming").
