Mercoledì 27 maggio 2026 si terrà online il webinar di lancio della Student Essay Competition 2026 promossa dal Magna Charta Observatory. L'iniziativa invita gli studenti a riflettere sul ruolo delle discipline umanistiche nell'accesso e nell'esperienza dell'istruzione superiore.

L’Accademia di architettura è stata invitata a presentare la propria strategia di internazionalizzazione, come esempio di buona pratica, in occasione della conferenza nazionale di Movetia.

Andrea Delpho, collaboratrice dell'International Office dell'Università di Basilea ha trascorso due giorni presso il Servizio relazioni internazionali e mobilità dell'USI per un job shadowing e per mettere in pratica il suo italiano. Andrea ha redatto una breve riflessione sulla sua esperienza.

Dal 16 al 18 febbraio 2026 Stefano Giacomelli ha partecipato alla EURAXESS Group Study Visit presso il Politecnico di Zurigo, dedicata al tema “Promoting Young Researchers: How to Navigate the Research Career Path”. Stefano ci ha raccontato la sua esperienza.

Il Servizio relazioni internazionali e mobilità è lieto di comunicare che il rapporto annuale 2024-25 è ora pubblicato qui. Nel documento si ripercorrono le tappe principali, evidenziando le sfide affrontate e gli obiettivi raggiunti.

Dopo la partecipazione alla Settimana contro il razzismo (SCR) 2026, il Servizio relazioni internazionali e mobilità invita tutta la comunità dell’USI a partecipare al nuovo sondaggio: “Diversità culturale e inclusione all’USI: che cosa ne pensi?”, che contribuirà ad orientare le iniziative future.

Il Consiglio federale aumenta i contributi per le borse d’eccellenza della Confederazione Svizzera per giovani ricercatori e artisti stranieri. Affinché l’adeguamento possa essere attuato senza costi aggiuntivi il numero di borse di studio messe a disposizione verrà ridotto.

I dati statistici sulla mobilità degli studenti in entrata e in uscita per il periodo dal 2014 al presente sono ora disponibili in forma completa, aggregata e dinamica sulla Power BI del Servizio.

L'USI, membro della rete Scholars at Risk dal 2016, rinnova il proprio sostegno al programma e propone un'intervista al Prof. Jean-Patrick Villeneuve, che dal 2021 ha ospitato 4 ricercatori nell'ambito della rete SAR.

Il 26 giugno 2026 l’Università di Berna ospiterà l’evento per l’anniversario di Scholars at Risk. L’incontro riunirà istituzioni e reti nazionali e vedrà, per l'USI, anche la partecipazione dell'assistente post-doc Parwiz Mosamim.

Gli istituti che aderiscono alla rete sono stati chiamati a partecipare con iniziative proprie ispirate al principio “Truth Matters”. Il bando è sempre aperto e accogliamo con piacere nuovi contributi da parte del corpo accademico dell’USI.

The launch webinar for the 2026 Student Essay Competition, organised by the Magna Charta Observatory, will take place online on Wednesday 27 May, 2026. The initiative invites students to reflect on the role of the humanities in accessing and experiencing higher education.

The Academy of Architecture was invited to present its internationalization strategy at Movetia's national conference, as a good practice example.

From 16 to 18 February 2026, Stefano Giacomelli participated in the EURAXESS Group Study Visit on the topic “Promoting Young Researchers: How to Navigate the Research Career Path” at ETH Zurich. Stefano told us about his experience.

The International Relations and Study Abroad Service is pleased to announce that the 2024-2025 annual report is now published here (available only in Italian). The document traces the Service's main milestones, highlighting the challenges faced and goals achieved.

Following its participation in the Week Against Racism (SCR) 2026, the International Relations and Study Abroad Service invites the entire USI community to contribute to the new survey: “Cultural Diversity and Inclusion at USI: What Do You Think?”, which will help shape future initiatives.

The Federal Council increases contributions for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for young researchers and artists from abroad. To implement this change without impacting costs, the number of scholarships available will be reduced.

The full, aggregated and dynamic statistical data on incoming and outgoing student mobility for the period from 2014 to the present is now available on the Service’s Power BI.

USI, a member of the Scholars at Risk network since 2016, continues its support for the programme and presents an interview with Prof. Villeneuve, who has hosted four researchers from the SAR network since 2021.

On 26 June 2026, the University of Bern will host the Scholars at Risk’s anniversary event. The event will bring together national institutions and networks, including post-doc researcher Parwiz Mosamim on behalf of USI.

Member institutions have been invited to participate with their own initiatives inspired by the principle “Truth Matters”. The call remains open and we warmly welcome new contributions from members of the USI academic community.
