Another year is coming to an end. Looking back, it has been a remarkable year filled with many initiatives and activities which contributed to the growth of the digital fashion communication community. Here's an insight to conclude 2019 and a sneak peak of 2020!
A great achievement for USI - Università della Svizzera italiana, which has been ranked by Times Higher Education among the top #350 universities globally, and among the top #10 universities for international outlook!

The team had the opportunity to collaborate with Olga Karamalak, associate Professor at National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia), whose research interests include digital communication in the fashion domain performed on social networks, in particular memes and hashtags.
Study Tours are part of our learning experience. First year students participated at the 3DBodyScanning Conference and visited Bulgari, Corazzieri, Tirelli Costumi and Guardia Svizzera during the study tour in Rome. They also had captivating guest lecturers from NetComm Suisse, Hearst and Tinext.
Second year students at Sorbonne University are fully immersed in the French lifestyle. They've visited the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, Hermès Ateliers, Maison Michel, Chloé's archives, Musée Bourdelleand and had inspirational guest lectures from Constantin Papakonstantinou and Thierry Kauffmann.
The Southern Summer School, organised with the University of Namibia and the University of Turku, will take place in Namibia. It will investigate how technologies can be leveraged to communicate and promote African fashion designs and cultural tourism. Photo Credit: Wikimedia Commons/Zairon.
