Abstract:
In the past few years Information Retrieval (IR) has seen a rapid evolution due to the introduction of neural models, creating a new branch of study: Neural Information Retrieval (NIR). A key advantage of NIR is its adaptability for handling multi-modal data and it overcomes many limitations of the classical retrieval methods. However, the process is typically dependent on large datasets and is often domain specific. In this talk I will present some of our efforts to address this problem by introducing context sensitive and personalized approaches to neural retrieval models.
