The Digital Fashion Research Team of USI is pleased to announce its collaboration with Microsoft Switzerland on the project “Digital Fashion at the service of telework”. The project takes place in the context of the LifestyleTech Competence Center association.
How do people in teleworking feel about turning on their camera? What are their practices when it comes to cosmetics, hair-style, jewelry, clothing? A study done by the Digital Fashion Research Team addresses these questions to pave the way towards a more fashionable future for teleworking.
How does videoconferencing affect human interaction? What is the impact of visual elements during videoconferences? Professor Lorenzo Cantoni introduces the topic with the national Swiss Television RSI (in Italian).
Michela Ornati, PhD candidate at USI, studies touch in the context of digital fashion. In her blogpost she discusses the relevance of another sense, vision and fashion’s inconsistent communication to the visually impaired.

Sara Greco is Associate Professor at the Institute of Argumentation, Linguistics and Semiotics at USI, and teaches "Argumentation in Fashion Communication" within the Master in Digital Fashion Communication. She is Associate Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society.
