Do you need more time to complete your SNSF project? You have the opportunity to ask for an extension for up to 12 months. Extensions can be either cost-neutral (in cases of underspending) or requiring additional funding, generally to support the salary of the Phd student(s) employed on the project.
The SNSF is launching the 2019 call for COST projects conducted in Switzerland, within the scope of the recently approved COST Actions. Researchers who have gained at least one year’s experience since obtaining their doctorate and are actively participating in a COST Action are eligible to apply.
Under the Horizon 2020 societal challenge “Secure, clean and efficient energy” there are several open calls in the research area “Building a low-carbon, climate resilient future”, which underpins the goals of the Paris Agreement and the "Clean Energy for all European" package.
