SNSF Eccellenza: Funding opportunity for new professors

The prestigious SNSF Eccellenza fellowships are a great opportunity to welcome at USI new excellent assistant professors coming from outside. These grants are aimed at outstanding researchers who have not yet obtained a professorship. The applicant’s salary and project costs are covered for 5 years.

SNSF Ambizione

Do you want to welcome into your research group excellent post-docs? SNSF Ambizione grants fund promising post-docs of any nationality and from any research field. They are awarded to excellent researchers with at least 12 months of experience at a different institution from that of the PhD.

Submission deadline: 02 September 2019

SNSF Doc.Mobility

Doc.Mobility fellowships of the SNSF enable doctoral students to write part of their PhD at a host institution abroad. These fellowships are awarded for 6 to 18 months. Please note that the last two submission deadlines for Doc.Mobility will be in 2020.

SNSF Early Postdoc.Mobility

Early Postdoc.Mobility fellowships of the SNSF enable postdocs starting their career to spend a postdoc research stay abroad. In principle, these fellowships are awarded for 18 months, in justified cases for at least 12 months. Last two submission deadlines for Early Postdoc.Mobility in 2020.
