EU funds ~45% of PhD salary and management costs. Remaining salary, mobility, research and other costs are covered by the institution and its partners.
Funding is granted for 36 to 60 months with a budget up to 10 mio EUR: 2.1 mio EUR is the average budget for doctoral programmes; 3.04 mio EUR is the average budget for post-doctoral programmes.
