The SNSF offers mobility opportunities either for visits abroad or scientific events in Switzerland. Take advantage of the schemes “Mobility grants in projects” (for PhD students employed on a SNSF grant) and “Scientific exchanges” (experienced researchers): submission possible all year round!
Mobility grants in projects are aimed at doctoral students who wish to improve their scientific profile by going abroad while being employed in an ongoing SNSF research project.A mobility grant can cover travel and living costs as well as fees for conferences and workshops for 6-12 months.
Scientific exchanges grants offered by the SNSF support scientific events (meetings, conferences or workshops) or research stays of 1-6 months in Switzerland or abroad.PhD students are not eligible for these grants.
