Leading Houses (LH) are coordinated by Swiss universities on behalf of SERI and aim to foster scientific bilateral collaboration with specific geographical areas. Currently there are 4 LH open calls:
The grant allow CH-based researchers and their Asian partners to collaborate on research projects on the COVID-19 itself or on any of its possible implications. The call is open to all scientific disciplines including social sciences and humanities. Funding: max. 25k CHFDuration: < 12 month
The goal is to build and strengthen long-term partnerships between migration researchers in Subsaharan Africa and CH.Funding opportunities: Contribute survey questions (no funds); Apply for a small grant up to 500 CHF or apply for a small grant up to CHF 1000 CHF
The call is designed to provide seed funding for projects between academic actors in CH and the Russia/CIS Region. The funding is aimed at research groups on both sides. Funding: 10kCHFDuration: < 24 months
Bridging grants can fund the preparation of a joint project proposal for submission to large funding agencies or to develop established and long-term partnerships between two institutions or chairs in all scientific disciplines and fields. Funding: max. 25kCHFDuration: < 12 months
