Innosuisse flagships are transdisciplinary projects conducted by large consortia in areas relevant to economy or society aiming at finding solutions to current or future challenges.
Flagships topics are defined by Innosuisse and will be announced in January 2021. These will be specific but broad topics that strives for solutions, which concern several actors and/or can only be solved through collaborative work.
A consortium consists of more than 2 research partners, of which at least 1 is a university of applied sciences. Furthermore, at least 2 implementation partners must be involved.
A flagship has a minimum duration of 3 years and the Innosuisse funding for a flagship amounts to at least 4 million.This funding instrument is complementary to innovation projects!
