“Horizon Europe” is the new European framework program for research and innovation, which will run from January 2021 until 2027. It will tackle major global challenges such as climate change, building resilience, and achieving sustainable development goals through competitive calls for proposals.

Structure

The program is divided in 3 sections: “Excellent Science”, supporting projects from individual researchers; “Global Challenges”, for collaborative projects tackling global priorities, such as health, digitization, energy and mobility; “Innovative Europe”, boosting innovation and SME growth.

CH Participation

The Swiss participation to collaborative projects is guaranteed by Swiss funds (either as an associated country or a third-country). Information about the participation to individual grants (eg. 	National Launch Event


	On 17 and 18 February 2021, Euresearch will present the new program during an online launch event focusing on Horizon Europe’s novelties and its goals. On the 2nd day, meetings with the National Contact Points or regional advisors can be booked. More details, event agenda and registration are available here!
