Innosuisse launched the first call for flagships. Innosuisse flagships are transdisciplinary projects conducted by large consortia in areas relevant to economy or society aiming at finding solutions to current or future challenges.
1) Coping with COVID-19 induced acceleration of digital transformation:The proposals within this topic must concentrate on one of the following focus areas:- Education, learning and teaching- Tourism and travel industry- Real estate and urban planning- Healthcare and medical technology
2) Improving resilience and sustainability and reducing vulnerability of society, infrastructure and processes:The proposals within this topic must concentrate on one of the following focus areas:- Demographic shift- Supply chains- Resilience of ICT infrastructures- Decarbonisation
A consortium consists of more than 2 research partners, of which at least 1 is a university of applied sciences. Furthermore, at least 2 implementation partners must be involved.
A flagship has a minimum duration of 3 years and the Innosuisse funding for a flagship amounts to at least 4 million. Implementation partners have to contribute 50% of the project costs (as for normal Innosuisse projects).
