MSCA Postdoctoral Global Fellowships (GF) foster international and interdisciplinary mobility by funding promising post-doctoral researchers performing a research project in a foreign country. Applications are made jointly by the fellows and their supervisors in the host institutions.
As a non-associated third country in Horizon Europe, Switzerland can participate only as outgoing host institution in MSCA Global Fellowships.
Outgoing phase in Switzerland of 12 to 24 months, followed by a return phase of 12 months in a host institution located in the EU.Funding is based on fixed monthly unit costs, covering the salary of the fellow, mobility and living allowances, as well as research costs.
- European nationals or long-term residents.- Post-doctoral researchers with max. 8 years of experience after obtaining the PhD.- Mobility rule: they must not have resided/worked/studied in the country of the outgoing phase for more than 12 months in the last 36 months before the deadline.
