SNSF Eccellenza Professorial Fellowships are aimed at highly qualified researchers who aspire to a permanent professorship. SNSF supports them in achieving their goal by allowing them to lead a funded research project as an assistant professor with their team at a Swiss higher education institution.
- Match the SNSF requirements for Eccellenza concerning relation to CH, mobility and academic age.- Have an excellent academic track record, especially in terms of publications, and firm ambitions to pursue an academic career.- Demonstrate interest in scientific domains represented at USI.
The grant covers the grantee's salaries and some of the project costs for a maximum amount of 1'000'000 CHF for 5 years. Click here for further details on the budget
