EU Missions are a novel instrument in Horizon Europe: they are ambitious, impact-driven actions to bring concrete solutions to some of today’s greatest challenges. They are coordinated by the EU Commissions and will operate as a portfolio of actions – such as research projects and policy measures.
The 5 defined missions are related to:• Cancer;• Carbon-neutral cities;• Adaptation to climate change;• Oceans and waters;• Soil health and food.
R&I is a key part of the implementation plan of each mission. The first calls for research proposals within each mission have now been launched. Have a look at the different available topics in the Missions’ topic preview. Deadlines and budget vary from call to call.
Swiss partners can participate in these collaborative projects, with the exception of Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) where CH participation is excluded. CH’s participation in successful proposals will be funded by SERI
