BRIDGE is a joint program conducted by the SNSF and Innosuisse. It offers funding opportunities at the intersection of basic research and science-based innovation, thereby supplementing the funding activities of the 2 organisations.
BRIDGE Proof of Concept helps young researchers to apply their research results and gain the confidence needed to make a market entry. The projects may target innovations of all kinds from all research areas.
- BA or MA degree (within 4 years after the last degree) or- PhD students within 6 months prior to graduation or - Postdoctoral researchers within 4 years after obtaining their doctoral degree.
The scheme covers the PI Salary and any costs that are directly linked to the execution of the project; max. CHF 130,000 per year.It provides funding for 12 months, and it may be extended once for a maximum of 6 months.
