Movetia, the Swiss agency for Exchange and Mobility, supports the interinstitutional cooperation and partnerships between higher education institutions through its Swiss Programme Erasmus+. Type of projects: Cooperation Partnerships and Alliances for Innovation.
In both calls, CH institutions can participate either as:Full partner: if the participation is deemed essential for the project. Receives EU funding.Associated partner: the Swiss participation receives national funding through Movetia.
The aim of these projects is the promotion of innovation at European level through international cooperation, the exchange of expertise and the circulation of competences.
These partnerships must contribute to one or more Erasmus+ transversal priorities, such as inclusion and diversity; environmental awareness and climate change; digital transformation; shared values, civic engagement and participation.
Projects can last between 1 and 3 years. Projects funding between € 100’000 and € 400’000.A cooperation partnership must include 3 organisations from three Erasmus+ countries + the CH partner.
The aim of these projects is to strengthen the cooperation between HEIs, vocational and training actors with the socio-economic environment, with the aim to promote the development of new digital skills and competences.
Alliances for Innovation will be supported via two lines of funding: - Lot 1: Alliances for Education and Enterprises- Lot 2: Alliances for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills.
Lot 1: duration 2 to 3 years.Consortia composed by at least 8 full partners from at least 4 Erasmus+ Programme countries. Lot 2: duration up to 4 years.Consortia must involve at least 8 programme countries and at least 12 full partners.Funding between 1-4 Mio €.
