The Doc.CH grants in the humanities and social sciences (HSS) are awarded by the SNSF to promising researchers who wish to write a dissertation in the humanities and social sciences in Switzerland on a topic of their own choice.
- Swiss or have a Swiss degree or are already matriculated and employed as PhD students in CH- Submission up to 3 years after master’s degree- 2 supervisors are required.- Applicants must be able to show that they are matriculated and employed as PhD students on the envisaged grant start date
A Doc.CH grant covers the grantee's salary and the funds needed to carry out the project. The funding is awarded for two to a maximum of four years.
