SNSF Advanced Grants allow established researchers leaders in their field to develop an ambitious, high-risk/high-gain individual project (no consortia allowed). SNSF AdG are open to scientists of any nationality and from any discipline.
Applicants whose proposal was rejected in Step 1 of the SNSF Advanced Grants 2021 call, may not submit an SNSF Advanced Grants 2022 application.
SNSF Advanced Grants are awarded up to a maximum of 2’175’000 CHF (not including overhead) for a period of up to 5 years. Requested funding can include the applicant’s salary.
SNSF AdG 2022 does not restrict the number of parallel projects. Therefore, SNSF AdG 2022 grantees can submit proposals under other SNSF funding schemes (such as project funding), as long as the proposals address different topics.
