The new SNSF standardized CV format becomes mandatory for the upcoming SNSF project submission in October 2022. Allow enough time to create one, especially if you do not currently have an ORCiD ID.
The new CV format requires all applicants to create their CV in the dedicated portal (click here). The CV includes condensed information, up to 3 major achievements in narrative form and up to 10 outputs. Additionally, a link to your ORCiD account is mandatory.
All applicants without an ORCiD account need to create one. The free, simple procedure allows you to create your unique profile and to add all your research-related activities and achievements (publications, grants, scholarships,…).
The generated 16-digit number, your ORCID iD, needs to be mentioned in the SNSF CV. This identifier will be visible to evaluators, who will have access to your ORCID record. SNSF recommends that your ORCID profile is up-to-date with your most important and recent works.
