Switzerland is not associated to Horizon Europe, but Swiss entities can participate as Associated Partners in collaborative projects; in case of success, funding comes via the State Secretariat of Education Research and Innovation (SERI).
Consortia must involve at least 3 partners from 3 different EU countries. Swiss-based partners do not count in the minimum 3. The budget varies from call to call: in all cases, the CH budget does not count towards the maximum call budget.
EU collaborative projects allow you to strengthen your R&I network, cooperate with a wide range of partners, including industry, companies and academia, and last but not least, become part of a solution to global challenges!
Several calls are open in the thematic section of Horizon Europe, with deadlines in the coming months: Health:19.09.2023; Cultural Heritage: 21.09.2023; Cybersecurity: 23.11.2023; Democracy, Governance, Socio-Economic Transformations: 07.02.2024; AI, Robotics, Digital Technologies: 19.03.2024
Register now to the online Euresearch Information Event on the Next Calls in Horizon Europe, which will be held on 25 May 2023, and learn how to get funded by Horizon Europe R&I programmes! Do not miss the chance to book a one-to-one meeting with the advisor in your field after the presentation.
If you want to complete your consortium or become a partner in a project, you can search for profiles in partner databases or register your own profile. Several online partner search tools facilitate networking and collaboration with organisations across Europe and internationally.
Other collaboration opportunities are promoted by the SNSF, such as the European Partnerships, ERA-NETs and other multilateral initiatives. Visit the link to discover the current opportunities and the participation requirements.
