Swissuniversities launched Call for projects in the context of the Swiss Open Research Data (ORD) calls programme. “Track C: Contribute projects” enables researchers to contribute to existing open communities built on ORD principles, focusing on their potential to improve scientific impact.
The total cost of the project (including matching funds) must not exceed CHF 100,000. This scheme finances projects up to 6-12 months. Applications guidelines will be available in June.
New action line “Mobilise and facilitate participation in relevant international initiatives” wants to ensure adequate representation of Swiss researchers in international forums and aims to enable their participation in relevant European and international initiatives by financing membership fees.
Personnel costs, meeting fees, travel expenses, and the purchase of fixed materials are not eligible for funding. The call for proposals is open until the budgeted funds are exhausted. The duration is end of 2024, at the latest.
