The SNSF offers, on behalf of the government, a transitional measure for researchers who had planned to apply for a fellowship under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships Action. They can apply to the SNSF for a postdoctoral fellowship at a Swiss research institution.
Fellowships are open to researchers of any nationality who have not resided or carried out their main activity in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to the submission deadline.
Postdoctoral Fellowships include the grantee's salary with social security contributions + a research budget of up to CHF 24'000 for a 2-yrs grant to cover expenses directly linked to the implementation of the project (such as travel, conferences, training costs).Duration: 12 to 24 months.
