Agora promotes the interaction between scientists and the general public. It motivates researchers to present their ongoing studies to a non-expert audience, establishing a live exchange where researchers and the public engage in active conversations.
Grants from CHF 5’000 to CHF 200'000 are awarded both for small communication formats and for larger-scale initiatives, for up to 3 years.Projects with a budget between CHF 5'000 and CHF 50'000 can also be submitted all year round.
- Applicants must be employed at least 20% at a Swiss higher education or research institution.- They must work with the communication service of their university.
- Costs for the development and realisation of the project (e.g. personnel, fees, materials, production costs, project management, project partner costs);- Advertising and distribution costs;- Subcontracting;- Costs for the publication and communication of the product resulting from the project.
