Start now preparing your Project Funding application to get funding for your independent research on the topic of your choice. Applications can be submitted by experienced researchers, employed at least at 50% at a Swiss institution for the duration of the project.
1 applicant can request up to CHF 1M for 4 years and can submit a research plan of max. 15 pp. (60’000 ch. with. spaces). 2+ applicants can submit a research plan of max. 17 pp. (68’000 ch. with spaces). The budget ceiling per project is CHF 4M for 4 years.
Collaborations are possible with countries in the Weave, Lead Agency or International Co-Investigator Scheme list. To involve applicants in other countries, you need yet another applicant based in Switzerland. Alternatively, you can include the researcher abroad as "project partner".
The application form is now available on the SNSF portal. All applicants and project partners need to create an account and link it to their mySNF and SWITCH edu-ID profile before they can contribute to the application and fill out their CV.
