Eurostars is the largest international funding program for SMEs wishing to collaborate on R&D projects that create innovative products,processes or services for commercialisation.Choose project partners from SMEs, universities and research centres from any of the program’s 37 participating coutries.
Innosuisse covers up to 50% of project costs in grants universities and R&D institutions and up to 50% of project costs in grants for small and medium-sized companies, large companies can expect only a 25%of the project costs to be covered in grants. Projects can last up to a maximum of 36 months.
The budget of the SMEs from the participating countries is 50% or more of the total project cost and no single participant or country is responsible for more than 70% of the budget of the project.
By participating, organisations can access public funding for international collaborative R&D projects in all fields, projects must: - Have a well defined project idea. - Collaborate internationally, sharing expertise. - Develop products, processes or services that can be easily commercialised.
