BRIDGE is a joint funding instrument of the SNSF and Innosuisse. It funds projects at the intersection between basic research and science-based innovation that do not fall within the scope of either the SNSF or Innosuisse. BRIDGE organises up to 4 calls per year.
BRIDGE Proof of Concept offers you CHF 130'000 for 12 months to apply your research results, develop innovative products or services, and gain the confidence you need to make a market entry. The project may target innovations of all kinds from all research areas.
• BA, MA or PhD degree obtained within 4 years• PhD students within 6 months from graduationExceptionally, BRIDGE has made available additional CHF 1 million francs for applicants with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree who can apply for a parallel "special call".
Your application must contain a confirmation letter from your host institution.Please contact USI Research Service as soon as possible to have the letter signed.We will also guide you throughout the application process and help you with the budget.
