The Flagship Initiative, launched by Innosuisse, drives innovation and foster transdisciplinary collaboration. Focus on solutions that require the cooperation of multiple stakeholders, encouraging projects that contribute to CH's future well-being with innovative solutions and business models.
AI has innovated in key human health areas such as drug discovery, genomic data analysis, precision and personalized medicine, multimodal large language models, and protein language models. Switzerland can lead in developing AI solutions to address challenges and add value to human health.
A consortium must include at least three research partners (one University of Applied Sciences) and two implementation partners. In exceptional cases, two research partners are acceptable.
Key components include: - Systemic Innovation: integrating complementary innovations to create new value. - Transdisciplinary Collaboration: involving actors from various disciplines to tackle complex challenges. - Broad Topics: addressing critical areas for Switzerland’s future.
Innovation: novelty in scientific, economic, and societal domains. Value Creation: market competitiveness and social/economic well-being in CHFlagship Setup: quality methods, clear goals, defined roles. Expertise: expertise and transdisciplinary structure. Cost-Benefit: analysis of cost/benefits
