SNIS funds pluri-disciplinary collaborative projects on issues that can only be solved through international cooperation. Projects must involve or study NGOs, international organizations (IOs) and/or private sector actors. Social sciences with or without natural sciences are accepted.
The project coordinator and co-coordinator must have a doctorate and be employed at least at 40% at a Swiss Higher Education Institutions for the duration of the project.
Max. CHF 300'000 for 2 years.Co-funding (in-kind and cash contributions) of at least 25% of the requested funds is necessary.
