Do you want to spend 2 years of postdoc at a host research group abroad? Apply for an SNSF Postdoc.Mobility as early as 9 months prior to your PhD date and up until 3 years after your PhD defence. Do not miss USI internal deadline (15 January) to obtain the institutional letter required by the SNSF.
COST Actions are EU-funded networks of researchers and practitioners that get together to collaborate on a specific topic. Because COST Actions don’t cover research, to promote the participation of Swiss-based academics in these networks, the SNSF offers CHF 400K grants to cover research costs.
Start now preparing your Project Funding application to get funding for your independent research on the topic of your choice. Applications can be submitted by experienced researchers, employed at least at 50% at a Swiss institution for the duration of the project.
With SPIRIT, the SNSF funds collaborations with researchers based in a country receiving development assistance with max. CHF 500K for 4 years. At least 30% of the budget must be allocated to the partner country/countries.

The Scientific Exchanges funding scheme is aimed at researchers planning to organise a scientific event in Switzerland, invite colleagues from abroad for a research visit to Switzerland, or visit their colleagues abroad.

Are you looking for funding to carry out research in Switzerland after your PhD? If you spent less than 12 months in Switzerland during the last 36 months and you obtained your PhD less than 8 years ago, the SNSF Swiss Postdoctoral Fellowships could be the right option for you.
Are you an experienced researcher with an excellent track record and would you like to have your own research group for 5 years? If you are 2 - 8 years after your PhD and you are Swiss or you have worked for at least 2 years at a Swiss research institute, you can apply for SNSF Starting Grants.
With CHF 100K for 1 year, Spark funds the rapid testing or development of novel and unconventional scientific approaches, methods, theories, standards and ideas. It is designed for projects that show unconventional thinking and introduce a unique approach. Spark is open to all disciplines.
