Innosuisse, Switzerland’s innovation agency supporting collaboration between companies, academia and startups, will maintain its level of funding stable until end of 2025. This newsletter highlights key updates and strategic priorities for the 2025–2028 period.
Innosuisse will continue to support SMEs in CH, placing greater emphasis on:- Companies adopting artificial intelligence and emerging technologies;- Projects addressing climate change and promoting sustainability;- Tech transfer between academia and industry.
Innosuisse funding for national projects with an implementation partner will remain stable throughout 2025.In 2024, the success rate for these projects was relatively high (40-50%) with 350-400 granted out of 800 submitted. Have a look at the data!
In 2025, national projects without an implementation partner will continue to be eligible for funding. However, from mid-2026, this specific funding track is expected to be integrated into a new version of the BRIDGE programme, co-funded by Innosuisse and the SNSF.
From now on, all new applications for innovation cheques (Innocheque) and all ongoing grants must be submitted / managed via the InnoLink platform, which replaces the former Analytics system. Though the platform changes, the funding conditions remain the same.
In 2025, Innosuisse will launch thematic calls with Germany, South Korea, and Poland. Projects must tackle complex innovation challenges. Start now building your consortium!
- With CH regaining access to the EIC Accelerator call under Horizon Europe, Swiss Accelerator has been discontinued. - Because CH remains excluded from calls on areas considered strategic for the EU (e.g. quantum), Innosuisse will launch a dedicated call on quantum technologies.
