A Data Management Plan (DMP) is a document that outlines how data are collected, managed, curated, preserved and shared during a research project, and after the project is complete.Nowadays, entire research communities consider the DMP as an essential tool for scientific production.
Drafting a DMP before data are collected is an important task for every researcher because it allows to envision the data lifecycle since the very beginning of a research project.Besides, DMP is requested by the main funding agencies such as SNSF and European Commission before the release of funds.
USI Research Service supports researchers in drafting DMPs.Do you have an SNSF grant and you want to learn more about how to draft a DMP? Register now for the next workshop dedicated to SNSF DMP drafting that will be held online on 29 April 2025, 15:00-16:00.
