USI promotes the present call for projects aimed to fund initiatives related to Open Science (OS) and Open Research Data (ORD). The call invites projects of any kind with the objective to foster the participation of USI in the development of competences and resources in these fields.
• Training activities dedicated to OS and ORD• Support to Research Infrastructures of national or international relevance• Monitoring of specific needs on the topics of OS and ORD• Development of new systems to foster communication and dissemination of research products, new data repositories
The call is open to USI researchers (more details in the call):• Professors; • MER;• group leaders;• post-docs;• scientific collaborators.It is possible to apply for a minimum of CHF10'000 and a maximum of CHF50’000 for a duration between 3 and 18 months.

The prize rewards researchers for innovative practices in the field of ORD and aims to promote change towards open research practices.The focus of this year’s call is open to recognize research projects of researchers and research teams at different stages of careers from various disciplines.
