Finishing your PhD soon or have you just completed it? Looking for an opportunity to conduct research abroad? Then the SNSF Postdoc.Mobility grant might be exactly what you’re looking for!
During the fellowship you can also apply for a return grant which covers your salary for 1 year once back in CH

At the call deadline, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Completed their PhD within the last 3 years or within the last 8 years in case of MD, or expect to complete it within 9 months,
• Hold Swiss nationality, a residence or commuter permit, or having conducted 2 years of research in CH

The fellowship covers subsistence costs, a flat rate for travel expenses and a contribution of up to CHF 5,000 for research and conference costs. It is awarded for a period of 24 months.

During an ongoing Postdoc.Mobility grant, fellowship holders can request the return phase, which covers their salary once back in Switzerland and up to CHF 5,000 for research-related costs for a maximum of 12 months.
