Are you planning to resubmit a rejected SNSF Project Funding or SNSF career application? From April 2025, you won't have to declare that your proposal is a resubmission. Plus, the SNSF won’t ask for a written explanation (revision notes) on how you addressed the critiques in the revised project.
So far only Project Funding proposals had to be submitted via the SNSF Portal. The Korean-Swiss Science and Technology Programme and the COST calls have also migrated onto the new portal. Scientific Exchanges will do so by mid-2025. Calls for career funding are expected to follow.
Start now preparing your Project Funding application to get funding for your independent research on the topic of your choice. Applications can be submitted by experienced researchers, employed at least at 50% at a Swiss institution for the duration of the project.
The SNSF and the National Research Foundation of Korea are launching a call for Joint Research Projects allowing researchers in Switzerland to carry out a collaborative research project in the quantum domain with a partner in South Korea. CH budget is max. CHF 800K for 4 years.
The SNSF opens yearly calls for COST Projects associated with recently approved COST Actions. Swiss-based researchers, who are participating or willing to join a COST Action, can get funding from the SNSF to conduct a research project in CH, for up to 4 years, related to the COST Action.
The Scientific Exchanges funding scheme is aimed at researchers planning to organise a scientific event in CH, invite colleagues from abroad for a research visit to Switzerland, or visit their colleagues abroad.
