Mirjam graduated from the 1st generation of Digital Fashion Communication master's program and has been with us since 1 March 2024 for her PhD study. Her topic of research is the creation of a fashion literacy construct. Her supervisors are Professor Cantoni and Dr. Sabatini.

Alessia Anicito, Alumna of the Master in Digital Fashion Communication, was awarded first place for best Master's thesis of 2023 by Ticino Moda! Her thesis was titled "Creativity Templates and Fashion Upcycling." Professor Michael Gibbert supervised her from USI's IMCA team.
Building upon their study on shoe museums and their web presence, Charlotte Stachel and L. Cantoni contributed an article to the Footwear Research Network. The article introduces a directory with publicly available shoe museums and archives.
