Do schools increase inequality? Does income inequality increase political extremism? Many questions of interest to social scientists are causal. This workshop will provide you an introduction to modern methods of causal inference that can be implemented with cross-sectional data.
You will learn skills to prepare and apply regression models with panel data for analysis. The emphasis will be on understanding the mechanism behind the different approaches, focusing on their advantages and limitations such that you will be able to choose and apply the appropriate model.
