Congratulations to Lazare Eloundou Assomo for the appointment as new director of the UNESCO World Heritage Center. In 2019, he was in Lugano for the USI MEM Summer Summit and met the participants to the UNESCO Chair Summer School.

On December 10th, at the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce in Rome, Marc-Marie Mutangala successfully defended his PhD, supervised by prof. Lorenzo Cantoni, on "The integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the religious experience of pilgrims and religious tourists".
The research project will focus on the digitalization of a brand's fashion heritage and its related communication practices. This position is funded by the LifeStyleTech Competence Center as part of a collaborative project with Bally, Hyphen, and Microsoft. For more details, click here (PDF).
