The “Blue Helmets of Culture” were already founded in 2016 by signing the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between UNESCO and Italy. Until today, they are working within the framework of UNESCO’s Unite4Heritage. Find out more in this video.
R. Riccardi was born in Bari (Italy) in 1966 and is currently in charge of IT Carabinieri for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. In his current assignment, he has been working on the development – in the framework of UNESCO – of the project “Blue Helmets for Culture”, deploying it worldwide.
