	New USI Startup Centre Annual Report is out

Empowering the startups of tomorrow


	Through our initiatives, we support members of the academic community interested in entrepreneurship by building awareness, offering dedicated programmes for different stages of development and project types, and expanding our network.

STARTUP INCUBATOR

During the reporting year, 23 early-stage science-driven startups, primarily in the ICT and Life Sciences sectors, participated in the incubation programme and achieved important results, particularly in fundraising, securing CHF 4.9 million in both dilutive and non-dilutive funding.

ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION

Throughout 2024, we delivered 10 thematic sessions and workshops from our training curriculum for startup founders and organised several events and courses within the Innosuisse Entrepreneurship Training programme, engaging 167 researchers and students.

COMMUNITY

We engaged our community through 25 events and multiple joint initiatives in collaboration with ecosystem partners, providing a strong platform to connect, exchange ideas and learn. Furthermore, our team reviewed 56 initial project ideas through the “Desk” service.
