Sostituzione NetID 13 luglio

edu-ID, la nuova identità digitale delle università

Da luglio cambia per tutta la comunità di utenti USI l’identità digitale. Il nuovo sistema edu-ID sostituirà il NetID anche per gli alumni che vorranno accedere alla banca dati delle offerte e al Profilo Alumni. Tutti i laureati USI possono da subito creare la propria identità digitale edu-ID.

QS World University Rankings 2022

L'USI nelle "top 250" università al mondo

Dopo la migliore "new entry" registrata l’anno scorso, l’USI si piazza in 240esima posizione nel QS World University Rankings 2022, guadagnando oltre trenta posizioni in una classifica che conta ora 1300 atenei, 145 in più della precedente edizione.

Facoltà di Teologia accademicamente integrata nell'USI

Il Consiglio di Stato ha recentemente accettato l’affiliazione della Facoltà di Teologia di Lugano all’USI. Con la ratifica da parte del Governo ticinese della decisione dei loro rispettivi Consigli, la Facoltà di Teologia di Lugano sarà accademicamente integrata nell’USI.

Being able to attend school is critical, especially after the pandemic. Therefore, the University is committed to supporting its students financially. For the Reunion, we invite all graduates wishing to do so, to support students at the University through a donation to the USI Scholarships Fund.

NetID replaced on 13 July

edu-ID, the new digital identity of Swiss Universities

From July, the digital identity of the entire USI community will change. The edu-ID will replace the NetID also for alumni who wish to access the CareerGate platform and the Alumni Profile page. All USI graduates are encouraged from now on to create their own edu-ID digital.

The 2020 placement survey on USI Master involved alumni who graduated between 2015 - 2019: employment, salaries, time, roles and sectors are posted on the alumni website and in the career section of each Master's programme, along with career stories and key employers.

22 alumni took part in the first Alumni Digital Talks tackling different topics, from Communication to Finance and Tourism. In these virtual meetings dedicated to Master's students, graduates explained their career path and work and advised on starting a career in the various sectors.

USI breaks into the "top 250"

After the best "new entry" recorded last year, in the QS World University Rankings 2022 USI gains more than thirty positions and is now ranked 240th out of 1300 universities worldwide, 145 more than the previous edition.

Dies academicus and USI's 25th

USI's 25th Dies academicus took place on Saturday, 8 May. The heart of the event was Lugano, with live broadcasts from Bellinzona, Mendrisio, Locarno and Airolo, different locations in Southern Switzerland in which USI activities are carried out.

Faculty of Theology Lugano

Faculty of Theology academically integrated into USI

The State Council has recently accepted the affiliation of the Faculty of Theology of Lugano to USI. With the ratification by the Ticino Government of the decision of their respective Councils, the Faculty of Theology of Lugano will be academically integrated into USI.
