Martedì 29 novembre 2022 la Facoltà di scienze informatiche dell'USI ha consegnato a 123 studentesse e studenti, di 20 nazionalità diverse, i diplomi di laurea di Bachelor, Master e dottorato durante la cerimonia tenutasi presso l'Aula Magna del Campus Ovest Lugano.

Le donazioni saranno destinate ai bambini ospitati dall'Associazione Casa Astano, agli orfanotrofi e ai collegi scuole nelle regioni di Kharkiv e Kiev.

L'USI, in collaborazione con le mense e i fornitori, ha introdotto stoviglie di plastica certificata e multiuso per i pasti da asporto allo scopo di ridurre sensibilmente la quantità di plastica che non può venire riciclata e che quindi finisce ancora nelle discariche.

The Humanitarian aid charity collection for Ukraine will be held on Thursday, 15 December, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the outdoor space under the West Campus cafeteria. Donations will go to children hosted by Astano House Association, orphanages and boarding schools in Kharkiv and Kiev regions.

USI, in collaboration with cafeterias and suppliers, has introduced certified multi-use plastic tableware for take-out meals in order to significantly reduce the amount of plastic that cannot be recycled and thus still ends up in landfills.
