In recent days, the Steering Board of the Swiss Clinical Trial Organisation (SCTO) unanimously elected Prof. Dr. med. Alessandro Ceschi as its President. He is the Head of the General Management EOC Medical Training and Research Area and a Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at USI.

Two USI projects selected in the MAPS call

Two projects with USI and IRB participation have been approved under the MAPS initiative, which supports collaborations between Switzerland and five Central and Eastern European countries. Only 9% of the submitted proposals received funding.

As part of Switzerland's energy transition, USI and the University of Bern have developed the online game "Ensured Energy", which actively involves participants in the challenge of climate neutrality. The project is co-funded by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy.
